Inspiring a Fairer Fife session 1 - How can we contribute to a healthier and more resilient Fife?

This first session will be a great opportunity to hear from Dona Milne, Fife’s Director of Public Health who has long been committed to addressing health inequalities and will be reflecting on Fife’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic as well as new ways of promoting public health into the future.

The session will also include a Q & A, small breakout groups and opportunities for participants to share stories, insights and ideas for action. It will take place via Zoom.

Please note that places are limited – and need to be booked in advance by 5pm on Monday 14th at the latest.

More about the Inspiring a Fairer Fife sessions

The sessions build on Fife Third Sector Strategy Group’s previous series of talks and discussions on fairness and inequality, held in 2018. They will explore how we – citizens, community groups and organisations – can harness our collective ability to tackle inequalities and build a fairer Fife.

The Plan for Fife commits Fife partner organisations to becoming more community led. We have seen incredible examples of communities leading the way in supporting each other through the COVID-19 pandemic. The sessions will consider what we can learn from these stories and how can we collaboratively redesign our systems, services and actions, so that all people in Fife can thrive.
