The Loch Leven Walkathon takes place at Loch Leven’s Larder on Sunday 29 March. You will be required to arrive in time for a briefing at 8:30am at the Larder. Registration opens at 9:00am so they expect the first set of walkers to be ready to set off soon after this time and they would expect that all walkers would have returned by 3:30pm.
Snacks, drinks and lunch will be provided but if you would like to bring additional snacks please do. You will also be able to purchase refreshments at Loch Leven’s Larder. Weather conditions can change quickly, so please dress appropriately and wear sturdy shoes. They would also ask that you please also bring a charged mobile phone so you can call them if you have any problems and they can contact you if necessary.
Meeting point for all volunteers on the day will be at - Loch Leven's Larder/Channel Farm, Kinross KY13 9HD. Volunteer parking will be in the staff car park.
On the day volunteering roles will include:
Helping out at registration/finish line
Shuttle Bus Marshals
Cheering on walkers
Car park Marshals
General set up and clear up
Please advise if there is a role that you feel you would not be suited to. Once specific roles have been allocated the you will be advised and appropriate information and briefings will be given.
