    This workshop, which is designed for staff, trustees and volunteers, will be an introduction to PVG and disclosure checking and will look at:

    • The different types of disclosure check available (e.g. Basic, Standard, Enhanced and PVG Scheme) and which roles require which type of check;
    • The definition of regulated work;
    • Interactive activities to explore the concept of regulated work;
    • Safe recruitment, risk assessment and other good practice measures.

    This session is an overview of background checking. There is a more in-depth session for PVG/Disclosure signatories. Contact us to find out when this session will next be delivered.
