    Deaf Awareness Training is to help participants have a better understanding of those with a hearing loss.
    The course will cover the following topics:

    • Different types of hearing loss
    • Statistics of hearing loss in the UK and Fife
    • Understanding the difficulties people with a hearing loss
    • Recognising anyone who has a hearing loss
    • Lip reading activity
    • Effective communication
    • How to use Sign Language Interpreters
