    Post: Maintenance Officer

    Hours: 36 per week

    Salary: £29,404 - £32,601

    You will be part of their Maintenance Team helping to deliver an efficient and high quality maintenance service for their tenants and customers. Based in their depot at Boston Road, Glenrothes, the role will include carrying out routine inspections, diagnosing problems and instructing work associated with reactive maintenance, change of tenancy and other repairs and maintenance and minor works as required in their properties and offices.

    You should have a qualification in building surveying, built environment or a related area, at minimum HNC/HND level and or, have several years experience in a maintenance environment in domestic properties. You should also have a good knowledge of building technology and construction and be able to inspect and diagnose common building defects in domestic properties. You should be a confident communicator, be committed to delivering excellent customer care and have good organisational and IT skills. A current driving licence is essential. You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
