Created: 23/06/2018, Updated: 25/06/2018Trusthouse Charitable Foundation launched their new grants programme on 1st June 2018: the first grants will be made in July 2018. The focus is on supporting small charitable and not-for-profit organisations in deprived urban and rural areas of the UK.
Summary
The funder provides grants to small, well-established organisations in the UK who address local issues in areas of extreme urban deprivation, or in remote and fragile rural communities.
They will fund projects which fall roughly into three categories:
Your application must also clearly show that your project fits in with one or both of their overarching themes which are Rural Issues (population under 10,000 with postcodes ranked within the bottom 50% of the latest Indices of Multiple Deprivation.) and Urban Deprivation (a population of more than 10,000 where local postcodes are ranked within the bottom 20% of the latest Indices of Multiple Deprivation). They will fund revenue or capital costs.
