  This workshop takes place at Fife Funders' Fayre 2025 which is open to third sector organisations, community groups, voluntary organisations, and social enterprises in Fife that want to meet with a range of diverse funders to learn about the grant funding schemes that are available.

  • Imminent changes
  • Practical steps for employers to consider now

  This session will help charities, and third sector organisations prepare for upcoming changes to unfair dismissal rights under the Employment Rights Bill.  

  Attendees will learn about the proposed removal of the qualifying period for unfair dismissal, changes to the statutory probation period, and what these could mean in practice.  

  The workshop will also cover practical steps organisations can take now to review and strengthen their current probation and recruitment processes in readiness for the new framework.
