This information session is an opportunity for organisations to come along and find out more about this funding opportunity, including who can apply and the kind of things that can and cannot be funded.

FVA has received just over £1m to distribute in Fife in the current financial year. Timescales will be quite tight and interested applicants will have direct access to one of our Capacity Building colleagues to provide one-to-one support,  as required. We expect this fund to be popular, following on from the level of interest in previous years.

Applicants from previous years can apply for this current year’s funding if they want to – Year 5 funding is open to all third sector organisations in Fife.  There is also the opportunity to apply for two-year funding, if you meet the criteria.

This session will be led by Cat Cockburn, Grants Manager at FVA.

    What we'll cover

    • Introduction to Year 5 of the fund
    • Scotland v. Fife
    • Fund outcomes, aims, and priorities
    • Eligibility criteria
    • Two-year funding
    • Application process
    • Fair Work First

    • Timescales

    Who should attend?

    • Trustees/Board/Committee members
    • Directors and managers
    • Anyone who would be responsible for completing funding applications

    This session is beginner friendly.

You’ll walk away from this session with a full understanding of the aims of the fund, what the application process is and where to find all relevant guidance!
