This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action
This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
Fife Voluntary Action would like to hear from interested young people (aged 12-25 years old) who have achieved over 200 hours volunteering, have gained their Saltire Certification, and are looking to become a Saltire Ambassador for Fife.
Saltire Ambassadors will be active in promoting and developing the Saltire Awards throughout their local community. They can get involved in many events and celebrations, talking to young people like themselves and encouraging them to get involved in volunteering.
Typical activities will involve:
- Representing the Saltire Awards and Youth volunteering within your school and throughout Fife
- Promoting and informing young people of the benefits of volunteering and encouraging them to register for the Saltire Awards
- Promoting and informing organisations of the benefits of the Saltire Awards and recruiting young volunteers
- Participating in decision making and actions through Ambassador Forum meetings
- Being involved in promotional events, workshops, and presentations within local communities in Fife
- Compiling case studies
If you would like to become involved as a Volunteer Saltire Ambassador, we invite you to attend an information session at our Kirkcaldy office.
Lunch will be provided.
