A well-established local charity with a great staff team doing excellent work supporting hundreds of vulnerable clients is at risk because they need a few people who can meet four times per year for three hours.
Optional training and support will be made available along with opportunities for you to ask any questions before agreeing to anything. They just need people who can read some brief papers before a meeting, attending quarterly meetings and contribute to discussions. As well as training and support, out of pocket expenses will be covered. Meeting dates will be known a year in advance. No prior knowledge or expertise is required.
We know that most people are really busy these days, but three hours, four times a year can fit into almost anyone's schedule. This is a rewarding voluntary role that will directly benefit people with disabilities to enjoy a better quality of life across Fife.
Volunteering looks great on your CV, and can improve your health and wellbeing, as well as giving helping vital services continue in the area.
