    About this opportunity:Baldridgeburn Garden Kitchen are looking for volunteers to support the running of the garden kitchen.

    There are a range of volunteering activities to get involved in, including:

    -Creating and preparing lunchtime meal (e.g. pot of soup) for customers making use of the pantry and garden stock
    -Following food hygiene requirements and completing paperwork
    -Keeping kitchen clean and organised
    -Serving meals
    -Preparing teas and coffees

    Join this great team of Fife Council workers and volunteers supporting the local community with their Garden Kitchen. You will supported in the role, offered the necessary training and given lots of other opportunities should you wish. Everyone is welcome and those that attend, volunteer and work here enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

    Maximum age:100
    Training provided:Once in post, volunteers will be given induction training, supported into the role and offered training and opportunities when needed or as they arise. Volunteers will be supported by staff and volunteers throughout their role with annual one to one support and supervision annually or as requested.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - All associated out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. These will be agreed in consultation with the volunteer's link worker. Transport related costs will be calculated as follows: - - public transport costs up to the current cost of an East of Scotland DayRider Ticket - mileage costs @ 0.45p per mile - up to the current cost of an East of Scotland DayRider ticket.

    Experience required:Baldridgeburn Community Centre are looking for volunteers with a can-do attitude, cooking skills and creative ideas for recipes. Food hygiene is required but training will be provided.
