    About this opportunity:Fife IAM is a local charity, run by a group of volunteers, looking to improve road safety and driving skills within Fife. They are looking for someone with an interest in social media that can help the group:

    -update existing members and
    -attract new members
    -Provide road safety information to a wide audience.

    The group has limited experience in using social media in this way but would like to expand their current reach and activity and are therefore looking for a dedicated resource to help promote the group and its aims. They currently use Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

    This is an opportunity to be creative and they would like the volunteer to work alongside their committee to develop a strategy for social media for the group and create content to post online.

    Training provided:The group is operated by 8 committee members. Various members of the group would work together to support the volunteer. Fife IAM is a delivery body of the national Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) which also provides training and information as appropriate. The IAM also has a communications team who can be contacted for support around promoting the local group.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Travel expenses for in person meetings can be discussed with the volunteer

    Experience required:Ability to use Social Media and preferably some experience of communications / PR although this is not essential. Interest in road safety / driving would be useful.

    Travel DetailsThis would be a remote opportunity with the option to attend in person meetings that normally take place in Kirkcaldy every second month. The group also hold events throughout the year that the volunteer could attend if they were of interest.
