OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Nurture Steps provides Early Intervention to children with neurodevelopmental differences and their families.
They are seeking a volunteer to support with the organisation's accounting system, invoicing and financial management. This includes tasks such as invoicing, logging of receipts, financial data entry, recording of funding, recording transactions, providing assistance with regards to preparation for forecasts, and spreadsheet creation and management.
The ideal volunteer would have bookkeeping experience and knowledge of financial systems, as well as a willingness to learn.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 18 Maximum age: 100 Training provided: Volunteers will be given training and guidance ahead of starting in the role. Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Forms will be provided to access milage and expenses reimbursementExperience required: Nurture Steps is looking for someone with excellent communication skills, an enthusiastic eye for detail, and good organisational, self-motivational and numeracy skills. Desired attributes include experience of bookkeeping (3 years) financial planning skills, knowledge of financial systems, and excellent excel and google spreadsheet skills. They are looking for volunteers who are respectful, encouraging, and supportive, and who are driven by the charities' intentions and ethos. Restrictions on who can volunteer
