    About this opportunity:KASP provides counselling and support, responsive work, befriending group work to anyone over the age of 16 who has experienced childhood sexual abuse.

    They provide placements to those who are in counselling training and also offer volunteering opportunities to qualified counsellors and befrienders.

    KASP is based in Kirkcaldy and offers services Fife wide. KASP is looking for some additional Trustees to join the team.

    In particular they are seeking applicants who have experience in HR but anyone interested in the work that KASP does would be welcome to apply.

    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:100
    Training provided:Training is available to all staff and volunteers with KASP. (Including Trustee training for trustees, CSA and other relevant training) You will be invited to complete an application form and come along to an informal chat. If you still want to be involved with KASP you will be invited as an observer to come along to a Board meeting. At this point you are not making any commitment. You will then decide if you would like to be a part of the Board for KASP
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - KASP reimburse mileage costs or travel costs as required for you to attend training, meetings and development days

    Experience required:Applicants must have an interest in childhood sexual abuse issues and be available to attend 6 weekly Board meetings. People with lived experience are welcome to apply.

    Travel DetailsThe KASP Board meet 6 weekly (currently via Zoom although this may change in the future, to meet in Kirkcaldy). Meetings generally last around an hour/and hour and a half. Applicants must have an interest in services for those affected by CSA.

    Saltire AwardThis opportunity is compatible with the Saltire Awards for volunteers aged 12-25.
