    About this opportunity:Abbeyview Day Centre are a local charity providing day care to housebound people over 65. The charity also provide support to carers and relatives of people living with dementia.

    Becoming a Board Member, you will be bringing your existing skills and experiences to help our charity make a difference to the local community. This can be a very rewarding role, and a chance to build your skills.

    Board Members will be involved in running and directing the charity and making informed decisions alongside the other board members.

    Sundays
    Minimum age:16
    Maximum age:100
    Training provided:Volunteers will be trained for their roles and will also be offered all additional training that is provided for staff.

    Yes - Travel expenses will be reimbursed at public transport rates, as incurred.

    Experience required:Abbeyview Daycare Centre are interested in the qualities that you can bring to the role. Ideal board members will be caring, reliable, good listeners, kind, and will agree with the values of the organisation.
