OpportunityAbout this opportunity: To provide supported and safe transportation for older people in the community to events and social cafes using your own car. Link Living offers befriending services to people aged 65 and over who reside in west fife and are socially isolated.
Main tasks:-
Provide Transport for member to and from cafe
Keep project worker informed of availability and issues that may arise
provide assistance to older people getting in and out of vehicle
Maintain confidentiality
provide annual vehicle insurance policy and MOT documentationTakes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays 
Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 18 Maximum age: 100 Training provided: We provide a volunteer handbook and training in various topics relevant to the role e.g. first aid, confidentiality, safeguarding Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - 45p per mileExperience required: You should have access to a car, business insurance and a clean current driving licence. You will be friendly and approachable, dependable and trustworthy. An ability to maintain confidentiality is essential while understanding the need to share information/concerns with paid (Assistant) Project Workers as required. Restrictions on who can volunteer
