    About this opportunity:Dunfermline based Talk Matters offers counselling/psychotherapy for up to 50 clients per week and placement opportunities for those training in the field.

    Talk Matters is seeking a volunteer trustee(s) to join its board. Trustees contribute to the realisation of Talk Matters' goal of relieving people in need of psychological support by the provision of a financially accessible, professional counselling service.

    The board is fully responsible for the governance and fiscal probity of the charity. Ten monthly meetings are held with an annual general meeting in September. Presently, the board comprises eight trustees. The charity is held in high standing and trustees are fiercely protective of its reputation.

    The board are especially interested in recruiting a volunteer who has experience of HR/IT/Finance or Law. It is not necessary that you have work/volunteering experience within the psychological therapy sector.
