    About this opportunity:As Scotland's leading charity to supporting all victims, witnesses and families of all crime types across Scotland, you will be joining a committed team dedicated to helping people with practical and emotional support in the aftermath of a crime.

    Victim Support supports victims of crime, witnesses and their family members, regardless of who they are and their circumstances. The service is independent, free, non-judgemental and confidential. They offer bespoke support, personalised to the needs of each individual.

    They are looking for enthusiastic and committed people from all backgrounds from across Fife.

    While qualifications and experience are good to have, what's more important to us is to have a '˜can do' attitude and be committed to providing compassionate and informative services to people who have been affected by crime.

    Maximum age:100
    Training provided:Training is initially delivered online through a national team. After completing the initial training, inductions are done locally within the local offices. Each volunteer has a line manager who they will shadow until fully accredited. Once accredited ongoing support and training is always offered.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Expenses can be paid weekly or monthly, we pay public transport rate or 45p a mile.

    Experience required:A listening non- judgmental ear is all that is required. Full training and a shadowing period will be afforded to all volunteers. They welcome applications from individuals of all different backgrounds and experience.
