About this opportunity:ME60+ Companion Support project connects people from minority ethnic communities. They encourage speakers of all languages (beginners as well!) to meet and make new connections in Fife. Volunteers will provide multi-lingual companion support to build meaningful connections, reduce social isolation and loneliness and improve health and well-being for all involved. They welcome anyone over the age of 18 years, who want to make a difference to another person's life and value the opportunity of working across diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds. They seek people who are confident, bilingual, and who are good listeners.

Companions will meet in small groups, befriending others to explore all that Fife has to offer, from cafes, '˜warm spaces', theatres and museums, towns and countryside, trains and buses and walks in parks and along the coast.
