    About this opportunity:The Family Centre HMP Glenochil is built on a strategic partnership between Stirling Interfaith Community Justice Group, the Scottish Prison Service and the Scottish Government, in response to the needs of male offenders and the families of offenders across Scotland. The aim of the Family Centre is to provide a supportive, friendly and welcoming environment for families visiting a prisoner. Support is provided by staff and trained volunteers to ensure experiences of prison visiting are less stressful and more positive thereby encouraging more frequent visits and maintaining family ties in order to reduce re-offending increase the stability of childrens lives and achieve positive long-term outcomes for all of the family.

    Training provided:Wide range of training around working with people in criminal Justice system eg child protection adult protection. Training for other projects may be offered
