    Opportunity

About this opportunity:Curnie clubs were established in 2016 to tackle isolation and loneliness. As part of the service, they run small groups to bring people together where they can take part in arts and crafts, nature programmes and gardening.

Their community bridge volunteers support those who have lost their confidence so much so they cannot attend groups.

Community bridge volunteers support these individuals either on the phone or meet with them at local places just for coffee and chat with the eventual aim of building their confidence enough to become group members.

This is a golden opportunity for those with an empathic nature to support some of the most vulnerable in our communities to become re-socialised and live life with confidence and autonomy.
