About this opportunity:Who we are looking for.

Do you want to make a difference?

Would you like to meet new people?

Do you have a little free time?

    Duties

The [email protected] was born as a coronavirus emergency response, but now it will continue to run as a people?s pantry offering affordable food to the Benarty area. The food the pantry receives mostly comes from the charity Fareshare which receives surplus food stock from supermarkets and they then deliver to us on a weekly basis, we also receive donated food from local businesses. As the lockdown has eased we are finding ourselves with less volunteers as those we had were furloughed and have recently returned to work. We need Volunteers to help with the set-up of the pantry and to serve our members at the pantry when open. We are also looking for packers and delivery drivers.

    In return you will:

Gain confidence in dealing with the public. Be able to help to reduce food waste. Gain valuable work experience and reference. Meet new people and perhaps widen your social circle.
