    About this opportunity:Kidz Club is a low cost playgroup style scheme that meets on a Saturday morning. Children aged 3-8 are welcome to be dropped off by their parents between 10.30 and 12.30 in order to give parents a short break, and allow the children to socialise in a safe environment. The club is charged at £2 per child, 50p for each additional sibling, and older siblings are welcome to come along as helpers - ensuring that parents who need it can have an affordable break to get on on a weekend morning.

    The role would include planning snacks, activities and outdoor sessions for the children.

    Training provided:The Centre provides a full induction to all new volunteers, along with regular formal review meetings and informal catch-ups. Volunteers will be offered the chance to train to receive relevant qualifications, such as a first aid certificate, along with ongoing on-the-role training, given by experienced staff and volunteers.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - The Centre can pay travel expenses at 45p/mile, or the cost of a bus ticket, along with pre-agreed out-of-pocket expenses.

    Experience required:The Centre is thus looking for someone who gets on great with children, who loves being boisterous and can get the kids outdoors while making sure that they remain safe, is sensitive and patient, and ideally would have prior experience in some sort of childcare.
