    About this opportunity:Join the youth club which meets on a Thursday evening in Collydean Community Centre from 6pm-8pm. Children from p3-p7 meet every week to take part in a range of activities from baking to film nights, sports activities, board games and crafts. They're looking for someone who gets on great with children who can help to lead the group. You'll be involved in arranging the programme, delivering activities and - most importantly - ensuring you and the children have fun. Full training and support will be given.

    Training provided:The Centre provides a full induction to all new volunteers, along with regular formal review meetings and informal catch-ups. Volunteers will be offered the chance to train to receive relevant qualifications, such as a first aid certificate, along with ongoing on-the-role training, give by our experienced staff and volunteers.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - The Centre is able to pay travel expenses at 45p/mile, or at the cost of your bus ticket, along with pre-agreed out-of-pocket expenses.

    Experience required:As this is a busy youth club the Centre is looking for people who can think on their feet, are great with children, and most importantly are able to listen to the children. The programme is youth led so it;s important that the leaders know and understand what the children enjoy, and to enable them to make safe choices and decisions.
