St John Scotland (Fife) are looking for volunteer drivers aged between 25-70 to support our patient transport service. St John Scotland works in partnership with NHS Fife to provide patient transport for people attending renal clinics in Fife. All passengers are referred to us by NHS Fife. The service uses dedicated St John badged vehicles which can carry up to 6 passengers allowing multiple pickups.
Volunteers will be introduced to staff and patients, have a driving assessment and complete forms and submission.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Volunteers will receive a mileage rate of 45p per mile which is the NHS rate.
