Crossroads need your help to support vulnerable adults who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness. Just a regular phone call, visit at home or in the community (one to one or in a group setting) will help a person build stronger social connections and also improve their confidence, health and wellbeing - as well as your own!.

They require volunteer befrienders from the Kirkcaldy Area including Dysart, East Wemyss, Kinghorn or anywhere for telephone befriending. Travel may be required on foot, by bus or car for face to face befriending in the person's home or community.
This opportunity is compatible with the Saltire Awards for volunteers aged 12-25.
