Kirkcaldy YM football club were formed in 1970 and now play at Denfield Park. They are a community-based club who have competed in the junior semi-professional leagues. In 2018 a new committee took over, with the goal of developing a team that the community can be proud of and one that can encourage and develop local football players to play at as high a level as possible. The committee are all local volunteers, from a wide range of backgrounds who want to promote the club, the town and enjoy the social aspect of working as part of a team. On match days, mostly Saturdays 12.30 -4.00pm, they need help with tasks before, during and after the game including: assisting to erect/dismantle the goal posts and pitch side advertising boards, sell raffle tickets, collect litter after the game, general maintenance at the ground, take photos during the match to enable us to add to our social media pages, a qualified first aider to assist during the 90 mins of the match. Want to join this enthusiastic team? They’d love to hear from you!
