Fife Sports and Leisure Trust provide opportunities for everyone in Fife to take part in physical activity, regardless of their age or ability. The classes are in a safe environment where participants can take part in the physical activity and socialise. Linking the social cafe to the activity sessions provides the perfect opportunity for participants and anyone else in the community who is socially isolated to come together for a cup of tea and a blether. The social cafe is a friendly and relaxed place for people to get together.. The cafe is situated within Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre and is open to current health class members, visitors and people from the local community. Volunteers for the social cafe would be required to make tea and coffee for those attending and have good social interaction skills that will engage attendees to the cafe.
