    About this opportunity:Could you help the committee manage a donated clothes stall, with clothing for adults & children?
    Within Happy Days at Kirkcaldy, there is a range of activities going on and when people are there on a Tuesday & Thursday 10am-2.00pm, they can browse and purchase items from the clothing stall, including school uniform items.
    The volunteer will help to wash, dry and iron clothes as required (all facilities for this are already in the kitchen but can only be used on a Tuesday as the kitchen is used for the Bite & Blether cafe on a Thursday). The volunteer will also hang up clothes, keep the area tidy, handle cash for clothing sales and liaise with the committee members as required. At times you will have sole care of the clothing stall, at others there will be another volunteer to be along side, although you will never be alone in the building because of the other activities going on.
    You should have a friendly approach and be comfortable dealing with members of the public.

    Training provided:The volunteer will be given an induction on all relevant tasks

    Experience required:Relaxed and friendly manner with members of the community who will be using the stall and the building. An ability to carry out activities on your own initiative.
