    About this opportunity:CHSS has a great discount store in Cowdenbeath, which needs help with moving stock.
    CHSS can fit in with your needs so if it's experience in a work environment or on your CV; to get out and be with people or to get first look at our bargains, there is a role to suit you.

    Takes place:
    Minimum age:16
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:Health & Safety and introduction to the charity, Gift Aid training and shown how to do tasks asked of them, reviews to ensure volunteer happy and discuss if they want to work in a different area in the store.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Paid into bank, usually monthly, can be weekly if required.

    Experience required:There are not any particular skills or experience needed. A good attitude is always welcome.

    Restrictions on who can volunteer
    Full and clean driving licence.

    Application process:Induction/Training; Informal Chat; References; Trial Period

    Taster available?Yes: They would be asked to do a taster for one hour to see if they feel they would like to volunteer with CHSS. If the volunteer is happy, we would arrange a time and day to start.

    Travel DetailsThe opportunity takes place at our shop, Unit 5-8 Raith Centre, Cowdenbeath, KY4 8LW. There are buses and trains for people not living in the area. All authorised expenses are reimbursed.

    Saltire AwardThis opportunity is compatible with the Saltire Awards for volunteers aged 12-25.
