British Heart Foundation is looking for volunteers to join our shop teams. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organsiation. As well as contributing to a worthwhile cause, volunteering is something practical you can do to help fight heart disease, the UK's single biggest killer. You will make new friends, learn new skills and have opportunities to develop within the BHF. You will be supported in your training by the shop manager and for your contribution you will also receive 25% discount.

All volunteers to complete 4-module training programme on BHF, Health & Safety, Security & Disability Act. Training supported by the manager and taken at the volunteer's pace. Additional training provided if volunteer wishes to develop/improve skills.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - 45p per mile or bus fares paid on the day (after 4 hours work).
A good knowledge of books, current authors, fiction and non-fiction and an ability to discuss books with customers
