    About this opportunity:Volunteers are the first contact for clients seeking help for their varied problems. They identify key information about the client's problem/s, assess and agree, with support, the next level of service, taking into account the individual needs of the client.

    Training provided:Training will be arranged around the availability of volunteers and staff, with the addition of practical sessions in the office. Dates have still to be finalised.

    Yes - Travel expenses are paid for petrol at 45p per mile or actual public transport costs. Expenses are paid on a monthly basis directly into a bank account.

    Experience required:Good computer and literacy skills are important . However mostly we need people who can be a good listener and work well in a team. You should be able to quickly sift through information and extract critical details and communicate information clearly. Being open-minded and able to maintain confidentiality is vital.
