    About this opportunity:Advisers provide a quality advice and information service. Advisers may undertake a range of activities with the client depending on individual circumstances, as well as write effective records of the interview on the electronic case recording system.
    Some tasks include:-
    Interview clients.
    Give information.
    Give advice.
    Give practical help, such as completing forms or checking benefit entitlement.
    Highlight instances of Social Policy issues.
    Record cases.

    Minimum age:16
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:The Adviser Training Programme (ATP) is a combination of group sessions on a range of topics; time spent gaining practical experience in the frontline office and the completion of a number of online training courses. The next ATP is scheduled to begin on Thursday 6th September 2018 and will run until the end of December 2018. Applications for this training programme should be received by Thursday 16th August 2018. Please see for more details.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Travel expenses are paid for petrol at 45p per mile or actual public transport costs. Expenses are paid on a monthly basis directly into a bank account.

    Experience required:Be a good listener and work well in team. Be able to understand complex information and convey this appropriately to clients, be open-minded and able to maintain confidentiality. Good computer and literacy skills are also important.
