    About this opportunity:Trust Housing Association is a retirement development, housing approximately 22 older people in Burntisland. We have a part time staff member who supports tenants to sustain their tenancy. We offer a range of social and other activities involving tenants and the local community, and we are keen to expand this.

    The Trust Housing Association are seeking volunteers for a group of older people who would really appreciate some support with organising activities and events in their shared lounge. They would like to have fun experiences, help with loneliness and fill their days and/or evenings. Volunteers can assist on a one-to-one basis or with the group.

    Minimum age:16
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:A full volunteer induction will be given by the coordinator as well as ongoing support, and training is available if needed for the role.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Costs covered in full including mileage.

    Experience required:Good communication skills. Be friendly and kind with good companionship skills. Willing to follow Trust Housing Association policies. Be respectful to all, understanding, patient and enthusiastic.
