    About this opportunity:This role involves:-

    Coordinate regular meetings with the group to plan ways to fundraise and organise events. These meetings can be face-to-face, Skype or conference call. Each group decides an achievable goal and plans events for everyone to enjoy.
    Ensure that accurate, relevant and up to date information is available at each meeting. By participating at internal events, meetings you continue to encourage and inspire established volunteers.
    Assist Volunteer Coordinator by conducting regular reviews with Regional Support group volunteers to ensure they are happy and supported.
    Participate at local events.
    Attend cheque presentations on behalf of the charity.
    Coordinate with the assistance of Volunteer Coordinator, volunteer inductions and volunteer training within your local community.
    Give talks and presentations.

    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:Induction process. Regular and ongoing support from Medical Detection Dogs and Regional Fundraisers. Invitation to an awareness/speaker training day. Shadowing and training opportunities and peer support from Regional Fundraisers and Regional Coordinator.

    Experience required:Good communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic, organised, confident and motivated. Act as an Ambassador. Good IT skills. (Need to contact your motor insurer to make them aware you are a volunteer for Medical Detection Dogs)
