    About this opportunity:Home-Start Levenmouth is a free confidential service for families with at least one child under the age of 5, living in Buckhaven, Wemyss villages, Leven, Methil, Lower Methil, Methilhill, Windygates or Kennoway.
    As a volunteer with Home-Start you will help us make a difference to a family in the local area. Volunteers can visit the families in their own homes or support them at our groups. A full training course is provided, on-going training and support.
    Volunteers can also provide practical support with meal planning, shopping and cooking, helping to get to Drs' appointments, reading to and playing with the children or supporting a family to go on an outing to the park or local groups. The choice is yours!

    Takes place:
    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:New volunteers will attend a Preparation Course. Further training is on-going and volunteers are seen monthly for support and supervision.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - All travel expenses paid - 40p per mile for cars and public transport costs reimbursed.

    Experience required:This is exciting and rewarding voluntary work which requires energy, commitment, reliability, creativity and a sense of humour.
