About this opportunity:Our team of Tribunal Representatives help clients to appeal against benefit decisions that they feel have been made incorrectly. They support clients to gather evidence in support of their claim and use social security legislation to build a case on behalf of the client. The nature of the appeals process means that there is often a great deal of paperwork around each case. Administrative volunteers with this team provide much needed support for the advisers by processing mail, updating client records, ensuring advisers are alerted to these updates, processing paperwork from third parties such as DWP or Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Service and providing client communication under guidance from the caseworker.
