    About this opportunity:The warehouse team work across West Fife, and are the backbone of the Foodbank! Come and join the team, and be a part of a crucial service - we fed over 4500 people last year.
    Dunfermline Foodbank has five centres that constantly require re-stocking, and an extensive network of partners who collect food on their behalf. Their warehouse team are responsible for ensuring all donations and deliveries are managed smoothly.

    Duties include:-

    Taking in donations and thanking our donors
    Checking the food
    Sorting into date/type
    Fulfilling stock orders for the centres
    Picking up donations from our local retail partners across West Fife
    Van driving (not essential)

    Takes place:
    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:Induction includes explanation of expected duties regarding opening and closing the building and the building's layout and also safety points to be aware of. Basic exhibition and travel information. Manual Handling Training, in-house volunteer training (induction, working with clients, safeguarding, team leader training).

    Experience required:Organisational skills. Some heavy lifting. People skills. Team player. Clean driving licence. Experience of warehouse work preferable.
