    About this opportunity:Are you keen to share skills or would you like to learn more about gardening and horticulture?
    Would you enjoy working in our beautiful woodland setting and garden or being part of our edible garden project?
    Cambo Heritage Trust are looking for a gardener to help out at the Cambo Estate.
    The Trust is looking for people to share their skills and learn from our garden team at Cambo Estate, Kingsbarns. Our new Visitor Centre and Gardens are open from October and we have exciting opportunities to work in the Victorian Walled garden and Edible Garden Project.
    If you have free time to volunteer with us on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, please get in touch for more information.
    Lunch and tea/coffee is provided.

    Takes place:
    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:Induction involves a chat with the Learning Officer and a walk round the estate and gardens showing different areas of work and what to expect, who points of contact are, etc. Then tasked with activities accordingly which is led by deputy head gardener who also offers pastoral support on a regular basis and review of any training needs and issues.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?

    Experience required:The Trust is looking for volunteers who:- Are open to learning new things and take instruction - tasking with activities. Are willing to work outdoors. Volunteers are never left on their own and always work in pairs or a tea. No experience is necessary but an enjoyment of the outdoors and nature/gardens would be beneficial.

    Travel DetailsThe opportunity takes place at Cambo Stables (Visitor Centre and Garden), Cambo Estate, Kingsbarns, Fife, KY16 8QD. The 95 bus from St Andrews and Leven stops at the end of the drive and there is a .6 mile walk to the Centre.
