About this opportunity:Our volunteers are the lifeblood of Poppyscotland.
Volunteers will be joining a team that covers every city, town and village in Scotland. A team that helps us pin nearly five million poppies onto Scotland's coats, jackets and jumpers.
Poppyscotland is currently looking for an Area Organiser for the Scottish Poppy Appeal in Kirkcaldy. An Area Organiser fulfils a critically important role, ensuring that poppies are available for sale in their local area during the campaign. With assistance from Poppyscotland, an Area Organiser will gather together a team of volunteer collectors and together they will distribute poppies to outlets and schools. Depending on the size of the area, they may also organise street, supermarket, event or house to house collections. The money raised by an Area Organiser by selling poppies goes directly to making a life-changing difference to our Armed Forces community.
