    About this opportunity:Gowrie Care require volunteers to help and encourage service users at a drama group and to take part in possible productions in the future:
    Coming alongside service users to help in drama group activities.
    Helping the lead instructor in drama activities.
    Being there to chat to service users and make them feel welcome.
    Admin, such as taking register, handing out paperwork as required.

    Takes place:

    Training provided:Induction to include: Review of role description. Guidelines of boundaries of volunteer role. Training identified from interview. Volunteer code of conduct. Roles of paid staff. Hours agreed for role, holiday commitments/time off. Overview of service/project. Volunteer support. Review. Confidentiality. Data Protection Act. Ongoing training if identified and agreed with Gowrie Care.

    Yes - Local public transport costs can be paid on a weekly basis.

    Experience required:Volunteers should: Have a caring personality. Be happy to mix with others and communicate well with a range of different people. Be reliable. Be happy to be in possible performances in the future.

    Travel DetailsThe group runs fortnightly on a Tuesday morning from 11:00-12:00. It takes place at the Parkgate Community Centre in Rosyth. Bus routes and Rosyth train station are within walking distance of the Community Centre.
