OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Furniture Plus are looking for volunteers as Warehouse Assistants to help out in the showrooms at Dysart and Dunfermline.
Being part of the team at Furniture Plus, we are very flexible and very rewarding. Lunch is provided at our cafe and all travel expenses are paid. There is also a monthly draw for a food hamper for all staff, placements and volunteers.
Volunteering at Furniture Plus is a fantastic way to help people in your local community. There really is a volunteering opportunity for everyone. Volunteering teaches you useful new skills, communication, team work and also making you feel good.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 17 Maximum age: no upper age limit has been specified Training provided: Our warehouse supervisor carries out a full induction (Health & Safety). Each volunteer would be partnered up with a fully experienced member of staff. Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Travel expenses are paid at 24p per mile for a motorbike, 45p per mile for driving and full payment for bus tickets.Experience required: Furniture Plus are happy to receive volunteers who are willing and keen to learn new skills, whilst growing confidence, meeting new people, have fun and feeling part of your local community.
