The Trust is a charity which brings mining families and miners' relatives along for a holiday and we offer full bed & board. The Trust employs a company which does all the big gardening tasks e.g. grass, hedges, trees, spraying, etc. but we do not have the skill/experience for flower beds and greenhouse use. The Trust would like to develop the greenhouse so the visiting residents can come and use it, grow some basic fruit and veg on raised beds so they don't have to bend down as much. It is hoped that this role can be developed in the future for a training department with the Coalfield regeneration trust, so the experience would be a great start to a supervising post in the future.
