The Trust is looking for volunteers to support the horticulturists by helping with the upkeep, development, protection and overall appearance of the Garden so that it can be enjoyed by everyone. Volunteers will be a friendly face for visitors to the Garden and answer any questions they may have where possible or direct them to the right person who can help them. Tasks will include:- Tidying up. Dead heading. Weeding borders. Pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Propagation and nursery work. Grass cutting. Looking after garden equipment.

All volunteers will be given a general induction to the Garden prior to starting volunteering with us. Once in your group you will be given general guidance on how to carry out tasks.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
Some experience of gardening would be beneficial.
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Ability to work under guidance and supervision.
Reasonably fit and able to undertake tasks required.
Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
