    About this opportunity:Like football? Interested in helping a local football club with match reports and publicity/promotional work? We are looking for a dynamic Media officer to join our team!
    We are a fast-growing football club for females in the KIrkcaldy/Central Fife area, with 9 teams for the coming season. We are looking to recruit a media volunteer which will involve the promotion of the club across various forms, especially social media (have a look at our Facebook book "Raith Rovers Ladies & Girls"). Support and mentoring for the role will be provided.

    Minimum age:16
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:Volunteers will be supported and mentored by the Chairperson and Head Coach. This will be face-to-face or via phone/messages.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Public transport rates or 30p per mile mileage rate.

    Experience required:You will have a good standard of literacy, be a good communicator, have an interest in sport and sports reporting, and also be an active and competent user of social media. Photography skills desirable.

    Travel DetailsWe would like the media volunteer to attend matches at Gallatown Park, Kirkcaldy (and occasionally elsewhere if required) during the football season, March to October, and to provide a short match report/photo for publicity purposes. The park is opposite Asda and is near to most bus routes heading out of Kirkcaldy going north.

    Saltire AwardThis opportunity is compatible with the Saltire Awards for volunteers aged 12-25.
