    About this opportunity:The role entails:-

    Contact with the press in relation to adverts, articles, etc. promoting the work of Samaritans of Dunfermline.
    Identifying and managing all publicity and media opportunities in support of the Branch.
    Liaising with Samaritans Central Office in all matters of publicity and media.
    Maintenance of our website.
    Management of our Twitter account.

    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:The Support Volunteer would attend module 1 of the Samaritans Initial Training. Also participate in the annual ongoing training programme and work closely with the Chair Samaritans of Dunfermline for support.

    Experience required:Enthusiastic and keen, a person who is familiar with social media, looking to establish and improve skills in dealing with the Press and IT in general.
