Our service provides support groups for children and young people, giving them respite from their caring roles, an opportunity to spend time with their peers and to experience new opportunities. Volunteers assist our Support and Sessional Workers to deliver our groups, at which we provide a range of activities from art and craft to cooking and sports activities. Groups are held in venues across Fife on a fortnightly or monthly basis in local community venues. We work with children and young people from aged 8 - 25 years and run age specific groups for children and young people to accommodate their various needs.Volunteers are required to engage with activities at group, encouraging children and young people to take part whilst providing a listening ear.
No details were provided about the training made available to volunteers. Please contact us to find out more.
