    About this opportunity:Plant Sales Assistants assist in the day to day running of the Plant Sales area, helping visitors find the right plant for their garden, and ensuring our plant display looks its best.
    Other tasks you might be doing include:-
    Being a friendly face and provide a warm welcome to all visitors.
    Helping with delivery of new stock, pricing and display of plants.
    Ensuring the plant sales area is kept clean and tidy.
    Preparing floral displays for Cambo House.
    Answering any questions from visitors and providing information about their visit to Cambo.
    Selling plants, tickets and Friends of Cambo passes using the till.
    Weeding and maintaining borders around Cambo House and Cambo Holiday Cottages.
    Watering plant stock.
    Being aware of any security risks and raising any concerns with staff.
    Adhering to Cambo Heritage Trust's Health & Safety policy.

    Takes place:
    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:The volunteer will be given full induction to Cambo Heritage Trust, the Plant Sales area, Staff and relevant tasks including Health & Safety. The volunteer will be supported by the Plant Sales Manager and the Learning & Engagement Officer. Ongoing training will be provided in using the till, plant maintenance (weeding, etc), plant propagation and other gardening tasks.

    Yes - Travel expenses paid.

    Experience required:This role will suit someone who:- Is confident talking to visitors. Is friendly and helpful. Has good communication and customer service skills. Likes a high standard of presentation. Has a good knowledge of plants, or would like to improve their knowledge.

    This is a public area and volunteer will occasionally work unsupervised.

    Travel DetailsThis opportunity is based at the Cambo Estate near Kingsbarns. The Plant Sales area is next to Cambo House. Cambo is on the A917 between Kingsbarns and Crail. The 95 bus (St Andrews-Leven) stops once an hour at the end of the driveway, and Cambo House is
