All our volunteers work from home. The Secretary is required to attend committee meetings, currently monthly in Kirkcaldy, to liaise with the Chair and other committee members, note the minutes of the meetings and plan actions for the coming months. The Secretary is responsible for correspondence with external agencies and the public, noting diary commitments, general enquiries and administration, managing the database (under supervision from MS National Centre, London) and communications within the membership of Fife Branch, (currently 180 members). Training opportunities will be available both locally and with the MS Society Scotland, mostly around issues relating to Multiple Sclerosis Information and Support.
