GK's projects include developing the Esplanade's floral appearance and promenade, including new large planters that will have to be planted, and more crocus beds in the grass. A crocus 'fish' bed was planted in the grass opposite Volunteers Green, this needs more bulbs. GK also plans to create a flower bed in Volunteers Green, and Nicol Street has 15 planters that are positioned to screen off a derelict site. These have trees and flowers planted each year and will need more flowers. GK has also planted daffodils in derelict ground at Abbotshall Road. Shrubs are to be planted there and a tiered planter that also requires planting. Further along this road GK has an EATS bed - this will be planted with various vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. The group usually chooses a day to suit those who can plant, so are flexible! GK represents the town in Beautiful Scotland where it has won Gold and wants to continue to succeed in this campaign. The group celebrates together!
